Now, onto more important news!
We just found out that the stork will be making a delivery to our happy home sometime in late Feb./early Mar. of 2009. This will be baby #2 for us, so to celebrate, I'm going to give away any custom jewel of your choice from my Etsy shoppe. Please leave a comment with your best parenting advice, especially how to transition from one to two children, or favorite memories from your childhood. I will draw the winner on Friday, July 18.

Congratulations !! I just recently became a mother of two on June 4th. I have a daughter Isabella who is 20months old as well. The transition to two has been an adventure. I have been blessed with an amazing supportive husband and family, which is vital! But since I've been on my own (husband back to work and family gone), I couldn't live without a sit-n-stand deluxe stroller, zolo ring sling, and a routine (or as much as one is possible, even down to which child goes into the car first). We also worked with our daughter the entire pregnancy to prepare her for the new baby. She received her own doll and accessories, lots of books, and lots of attention. We also tried not to change her routine to much once the baby arrived. While nursing we sing songs and read LOTS of books. I also recommend one on one time with each child very important. I hope this helps...jsut remember take it one day at a time and everything else will just fall into place. I can honestly tell you so far so good with two, aside from being a little extra tired ;-)
